HAL reports over 4-fold jump in Q2 net profit

Hindustan Aeronautics (HAL) has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2018.

The company has reported over 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 289.42 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 67.90 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company increased by 4.55% at Rs 2,680.00 crore for Q2FY19 as compared Rs 2,563.25 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

HAL is Bengaluru based Defence Public Sector Undertakings (DPSU) Company engaged in the design, development, manufacture, repair, overhaul, upgrade and servicing of a wide range of products including, aircraft, helicopters, aero-engines, avionics, accessories and aerospace structures.
