Mumbai, December 2 (Udaipur Kiran): Granules India was trading at Rs. 569.35 on the BSE, up by 0.65 points or 0.11 per cent from its previous close of Rs. 568.70.

The stock opened at Rs. 568.30 and touched a high of Rs. 571.85 and a low of Rs. 565.10 during the session. So far, 15,973 shares have been traded on the counter.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock, with a face value of Rs. 1, has touched a 52-week high of Rs. 627.45 on December 3, 2024, and a 52-week low of Rs. 412.05 on April 7, 2025. Over the past one week, the stock has traded between Rs. 543.00 and Rs. 571.85. The company’s current market capitalisation stands at Rs. 13,783.58 crore.
Promoters hold 38.82 per cent stake in the company, while institutional and non-institutional investors hold 32.01 per cent and 29.17 per cent respectively.
Granules India has launched two advanced Centres of Excellence at the Technology Research Park of IIT Hyderabad — the Ascelis Center of Excellence for Peptide Development and Characterization and the Granules Center of Excellence for Particle Engineering. The Ascelis Centre, established under Ascelis Peptides, the CDMO arm of the company, will focus on the development of cosmetic, therapeutic and pharmaceutical peptides. It is Ascelis’ first development and characterization facility in India and is equipped for primary, secondary and tertiary structure characterization. The centre will operate in collaboration with the company’s Swiss-based R&D facility, Senn Chemicals.
The Granules Center of Excellence for Particle Engineering will support advanced research in polymorphs, material science and novel drug delivery systems, including amorphous solid dispersions. It will enable in-house development for formulation innovation and proprietary technologies for regulated markets.
Granules India is engaged in the manufacture and supply of pharmaceutical products, including active pharmaceutical ingredients, formulation intermediates and finished dosages.
