Gold Nears ₹1 Lakh Mark for 22K, Silver Prices Also Surge

New Delhi, September 8 (Kiran News). Gold prices in India soared to fresh highs on Sunday, with 24-carat gold crossing the ₹1.08 lakh mark per 10 grams and 22-carat gold moving close to the ₹1 lakh level. Alongside gold, silver prices also gained sharply, rising by nearly ₹1,000 per kilogram.

According to jewellers, 24-carat gold was trading in the range of ₹1,08,460–₹1,08,610 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted between ₹99,350–₹99,500 per 10 grams across most bullion markets. Silver prices surged to ₹1,27,000 per kilogram in Delhi’s bullion market.

Traders said the strong upward movement in bullion is being witnessed uniformly across major state capitals including Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha.

Gold’s rally comes amid strong domestic demand and global market cues, with buyers closely watching whether 22-carat gold breaches the ₹1 lakh psychological mark in the coming days.
