Lucknow : Two former MLAs of Congress and Samajwadi Party (SP) along with three others joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday.
State vice-president of Congress and former MLA from Tindwari seat Daljit Singh and former SP MLA from Mauranipur in Jhansi district Rashmi Arya joined the BJP in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya.
Besides, Braj Mohan Singh of the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), former state president of Janvadi Party Satyendra Chauhan and Dr Surabhi, who contested assembly polls from Kaimganj seat in Farrukhabad also joined the BJP.
