EKI Energy Services Rises on Incorporating New Subsidiary

Mumbai, September 24 (Udaipur Kiran News): Shares of EKI Energy Services were trading higher on Wednesday after the company announced the incorporation of a wholly owned subsidiary. The stock was quoting at Rs 115.90, up 0.61% from its previous close of Rs 115.20 on the BSE.

The counter opened at Rs 114.40 and moved between a high of Rs 116.45 and a low of Rs 112.00 during the session. A total of 100 shares changed hands. The company’s market capitalisation currently stands at Rs 318.46 crore.

Over the past year, the scrip has hit a 52-week high of Rs 365.80 (December 9, 2024) and a 52-week low of Rs 82.45 (March 20, 2025). On a weekly basis, it has traded between Rs 119.00 and Rs 112.00.

Promoters hold 66.08% stake in the company, while institutional investors account for 0.07% and non-institutional investors hold 33.85%.

The company said it has set up a new subsidiary, EKI Greengas Solutions, under the Companies Act, 2013. The new entity will focus on manufacturing, trading, and distribution of biogas and related renewable energy products and technologies. It will also provide consulting, research, and services in biomass, biochar, carbon capture, and biogas plant operations.

EKI Energy Services is engaged in carbon credits trading, climate change advisory services, business excellence advisory, and electrical safety audits.
