Mumbai, October 27 (Udaipur Kiran): The romantic drama film‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’, starring Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa, continues its steady run at the box office. Released on October 21, the film has completed its first week in theatres, maintaining consistent earnings despite a modest weekend response.
According to Sacnilk reports, the film earned ₹6.75 crore on its sixth day, following collections of ₹6.25 crore on Day 5, ₹5.5 crore on Day 4, ₹6 crore on Day 3, ₹7.75 crore on Day 2, and ₹9 crore on its opening day. With this, the movie has collected a total of ₹41.25 crore in six days.
Despite not showing major weekend growth, the film has managed to surpass expectations and achieve profitability, considering its reported budget of ₹30 crore. Moreover, ‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ has broken three box office records, overtaking the collections of John Abraham’s ‘The Diplomat’ (₹38.97 crore), Kajol’s ‘Maa’ (₹36.27 crore), and Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Deva’ (₹34.37 crore).
The film’s next target is to surpass ‘Son of Sardar 2’, which earned ₹47.03 crore.
