While audiences have appreciated its quirky tone, the film’s earnings have slowed down after a strong weekend. In comparison, Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa’s romantic drama Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat continues to hold its ground, though Monday proved to be a tough test for both releases.
‘Thama’ Box Office Report
According to Sacnilk data, Thama earned ₹4.25 crore on its seventh day, marking its weakest day since release. The film collected ₹12.6 crore on Day 6 and ₹13.1 crore on Day 5, bringing its total earnings to ₹95.55 crore in seven days. With an estimated budget of ₹145 crore, the film needs stronger weekday performance to recover its costs and sustain its box office run.
‘Ek Deewane Ki Deewaniyat’ Box Office Report
The Harshvardhan Rane–Sonam Bajwa starrer managed ₹3.35 crore on Day 7. Over the weekend, it collected ₹7 crore on Day 6 and ₹6.25 crore on Day 5, taking its total earnings to ₹44.85 crore so far.
The competition between the two films remains tight, but both now depend on continued audience support to stay afloat. The coming days will determine which one manages to sustain its momentum and which fades from the box office race.
