New Delhi, May 1: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta announced on social media platform X that she has registered her details for the census through self-enumeration. She emphasized that this process is easy and completely secure, allowing every citizen to participate in the campaign with ease.
She stated that accurate information forms the foundation of sound policies. When data is precise, the benefits of schemes reach every needy individual, and development truly progresses inclusively. CM Rekha urged all Delhi residents to actively participate in the self-enumeration process, asserting that their involvement will lay a strong foundation for a developed Delhi and a developed India.
Previously, the census campaign for 2027 was also launched in Rajasthan and Jharkhand. Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma participated in the self-enumeration starting from May 1, submitting necessary information on the official portal. He appealed to every citizen to take part in this grand initiative.
Rajasthan Governor Haribhai Bagde formally inaugurated the ‘Census 2027’ process by self-enumerating at Lok Bhawan on Friday, marking the official start of the first phase of census activities across the state.
In Jharkhand, the grand initiative for Census 2027 has also commenced. Governor Santosh Kumar Gangwar formally launched the state’s self-enumeration process at Lok Bhawan in Ranchi on Friday, ensuring his participation by registering his personal and residential information on the portal for this national endeavor.
