Udaipur – The serene waters of Fatehsagar Lake turned into a scene of tragedy early Tuesday morning when a young man’s body was found floating near the Circuit House area. The shocking discovery sent waves of panic across the city, prompting immediate action from the authorities.

At approximately 4 AM, locals noticed a lifeless body drifting in the lake, triggering an urgent response from rescue teams. Upon receiving the distress call, Kailash Menaria from Rajasthan Civil Defense Department, Udaipur, swiftly informed senior officials and dispatched a team to the site.
Rescue personnel retrieved the body from the water and promptly notified Ambamata Police Station, initiating an official inquiry into the mysterious incident.
Following preliminary investigations, police confirmed the deceased as Kailash Prajapat, aged 21, son of Mahendra Prajapat, a resident of Shastri Circle, Udaipur.
Authorities took custody of the body and transferred it to a government hospital for a post-mortem examination, which is expected to provide crucial insights into the cause of death.
