
The woman had given a police complaint in November 2017, however, the cops had given an FR in the case after investigation. The rape survivor put up a protest application at the court against the police action which was allowed by the court. The complainant said that in 2015 she was working with a local theater in Udaipur and came to know Jaiveer through a website. Both became friends and in 2016 Jaiveer allegedly promised to marry her. Once she was invited by him to his hostel room where he made sexual relation with her against her will.
The doctor assured that he would marry her but when he did not keep his words, the woman left for Mumbai in 2017 to pursue a career in acting however when she realized she was pregnant, she returned to Udaipur and asked Jaiveer to get married. The woman said that Jaiveer took her to his friend Mangesh Singhade’s room in PratapNagar area and forcefully gave her a medicine to cause abortion. He convinced her to go back to Mumbai but when her health condition worsened she returned and forced Jaiveer to get married.
The complainant held that the doctor had no intentions to marry her and made excuses to take her home to meet his parents. The woman also said that when his father confronted Jaiveer about their relationship, he refused to have anything to do with her. The woman in her protest application said she had given a written complaint to the SP which was forwarded to the Hathipole police station for investigation but the policemen gave a final report finding the complaint to be a false one.
