87 donors participate, couples, siblings, and friends inspire with collective contributions
Udaipur, May 28 — In a powerful display of community service and unity, a blood donation camp was held on the occasion of Maharana Pratap Jayanti, organized jointly by Akhil Bharatiya Kshatriya Mahasabha Mewar, Krishna Kalyan Sansthan, and Mahadev Sena. The camp saw 87 blood donors coming together to honour the legacy of Maharana Pratap through an act of life-saving service.

The camp commenced at 9 a.m. with floral tributes to Maharana Pratap and a ceremonial lamp lighting, symbolizing the start of a week-long celebration of his valor and sacrifice. What stood out was not just the participation but the deeply emotional and motivational stories from the camp.
Inspiring Moments of Unity and Courage
Among the many heartwarming instances was divyang devotee Lokesh Chaudhary, who, despite lacking both arms, expressed his desire to donate blood using his thighs — a testament to the spirit of sacrifice that Maharana Pratap embodies. Several newlywed couples, siblings, and groups of friends came forward together to donate, creating lasting impressions of solidarity and shared commitment to society.
Health, Humanity, and Harmony
District President Yadavendra Singh Ralawta highlighted the health benefits of blood donation, emphasizing that it not only rejuvenates the body by producing fresh blood but also maintains iron levels, reducing the risk of heart attacks and strokes. He added that saving lives enhances self-worth and fosters a positive mental outlook.
General Secretary Hemendra Singh Dawana spoke about the social impact of such initiatives, noting that they promote brotherhood and compassion. He also mentioned that blood donors benefit from free testing for major infections like HIV, Hepatitis B and C, malaria, and syphilis — services that can often be expensive. According to him, donating blood also activates positive Martian energy, symbolizing courage, vitality, and camaraderie.
Dignitaries and Community Leaders Present
The event was graced by several distinguished personalities, including former BJP rural district president Chandragupt Singh Chauhan, Maya Behan, Sangeeta Kanwar Kothariya, Prem Singh Shaktawat, Kamalendra Singh Panwar, Chatar Singh Rathore, and Pradeep Rawani among many others. Their presence reaffirmed the message that blood donation is not just a health initiative but a civic and cultural duty.
Also in attendance were Yashvardhan Ranawat Jeevana, Ajay Singh Pahal, Jyotsana Jhala, Ravindra Kappu, Ranveer Singh Chandela, Bhanu Pratap Singh Thana, Devendra Singh Bhati, Pushparaj Singh Shaktawat, Satpal Singh Dodia, Uday Singh Shaktawat, Mahip Singh Jhala, and numerous other contributors from the wider community.
This year’s blood donation camp was more than a medical activity — it was a collective expression of reverence for Maharana Pratap, blending service, health, and heritage into a single noble gesture.
