Enhanced Connectivity for Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra
Jodhpur, May 27: In a significant development for railway connectivity in western India, the Indian Railways is launching a new weekly AC superfast train service between Bikaner and Bandra Terminus starting Wednesday, May 28. This new service promises to improve travel convenience for passengers across Rajasthan, Gujarat, and Maharashtra.

Flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi from Deshnok Railway Station on May 22 as a part of its inaugural run, the train will now commence its regular operations under the North Western Railway’s Jodhpur division.
Train Schedule and Timings
Train number 21904 Bikaner–Bandra Terminus AC Superfast Express will depart from Bikaner every Wednesday at 8:50 AM. It will arrive at Jodhpur Railway Station at 1:10 PM and leave at 1:20 PM, reaching Bandra Terminus the next day (Thursday) at 6:45 AM.
The return journey, train number 21903 Bandra Terminus–Bikaner AC Superfast Express, will depart from Bandra every Monday at 11:25 PM. It will arrive in Jodhpur on Tuesday at 3:30 PM, depart at 3:40 PM, and reach Bikaner at 8:40 PM the same day. The return service is set to begin from June 2.
Wide Coverage with Key Stops
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Vikas Kheda informed that the train will have scheduled halts at key stations, including Deshnok, Nokha, Nagaur, Merta Road, Jodhpur, Pali Marwar, Marwar Junction, Falna, Abu Road, Palanpur, Mehsana, Sabarmati, Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Vapi, and Borivali.
This extensive list of stoppages ensures wide accessibility for travelers across multiple regions, particularly enhancing north-western and western India’s rail network.
Modern Coaches and Enhanced Passenger Comfort
The train will operate with a total of 22 modern coaches. This includes 18 three-tier AC economy coaches, two AC chair cars, and two power cars. The configuration aims to offer both affordability and comfort, catering to a diverse passenger demographic including long-distance travelers and business commuters.
