Mumbai, 13 November (Udaipur Kiran)। Auro Laboratories’ shares surged over 7% on Thursday after the company received the WHO–GMP (World Health Organization–Good Manufacturing Practices) certification for its Tarapur-based API manufacturing facility.

The stock was trading at ₹195.90, up ₹13.05 or 7.14% from the previous close of ₹182.85 on the BSE. It opened at ₹195.00, hitting an intraday high of ₹199.00 and a low of ₹189.40. Over 3,400 shares have been traded so far. The company’s current market cap stands at ₹118.48 crore.
The BSE Group ‘X’ stock has seen a 52-week range of ₹303.00 (17 July 2025) and ₹159.00 (12 November 2025). Promoters hold 52.18%, while institutions and non-institutions own 0.01% and 47.82% respectively.
The certification, granted by the Food & Drug Administration, Maharashtra, is valid until 30 September 2028. It comes after Auro Laboratories successfully cleared the WHO inspection at its Tarapur API facility located in MIDC Tarapur.
Auro Laboratories is engaged in the manufacturing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (APIs), intermediates, and generic formulations.
