New Delhi, June 17 (Udaipur Kiran) – A new issue has emerged involving Amul ice cream, where a customer reportedly found a centipede in her ice cream. Upon receiving this complaint, the company has requested the customer residing in Noida to return the ice cream tub for a thorough investigation. The woman claimed that she found a centipede in the ice cream she purchased.

In a statement issued on Monday via an ‘X’ post, Amul expressed their desire to conduct a full investigation into the matter and apologized for the inconvenience caused to the customer in Noida. The Gujarat Cooperative Milk Marketing Federation (GCMMF), which markets dairy products under the Amul brand, has initiated an investigation on their end. Additionally, the company affirmed its commitment to providing high-quality dairy products in both Indian and global markets. Meanwhile, the Noida Food Safety Department has also started its own investigation into the incident.
The issue came to light when a woman in Noida claimed that she ordered ice cream through an ‘instant delivery app’ and discovered a centipede inside. The customer, identified as Deepa Devi, ordered the Vanilla Magic flavor ice cream from Amul for ₹195 on June 15. When she opened the tub, she found a centipede crawling inside it.
