150 Scientists from 12 Countries to Participate in International Conference on Integrative Chemistry, Biology and Translational Medicine at Pacific University

Udaipur: Pacific University Udaipur, Hansraj College-University of Delhi, Mayo Clinic USA, HeteroChem InnoTech Pvt. Ltd. and Pacific Medical University Udaipur are jointly organizing a three-day international conference on Integrative Chemistry, Biology and Translational Medicine. More than 150 foreign and 600 Indian academicians, researchers and scientists will participate in this conference on March 8, 9 and 10.

Addressing the press conference, Chairperson Rahul Aggarwal said that academicians, scientists, doctors, pharmacists and researchers from USA, Brazil, Russia, Hungary, Germany, France, Czech Republic, South Africa, Singapore, Ghana and Malaysia will participate in this conference and will also present their research papers. This is a matter of pride for Udaipur. Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat will also encourage the researchers in the conference. On this occasion, a pre-conference workshop was organized on March 7, in which professors from Jawaharlal Nehru University gave information on effective presentation and use of artificial intelligence in biology.

During this conference, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) will be signed between Pacific University Udaipur and Delhi University, under which students of Pacific University and DU will conduct many joint academic events in future. Through various conferences and seminars, the research scholars and students of both the universities will get high academic benefits and the quality of their research will improve. In addition, a Letter of Intent will also be signed between Pacific University and University of Debrecen Hungary, under which students and faculty of both the universities will go to each other’s place and gain experience. With special focus on the field of research, research scholars will be encouraged to do collaborative research work. Special events on drug discovery will be organized regularly for pharmacy and medical science students.

The conference will be inaugurated on March 8 in the auditorium of Pacific University by the chief guest, Dean of Colleges of Delhi University, Prof. Balram Pani. Guest of Honor, Chairman of UNESCO MGIP Prof. BP Sharma, Special Guest, Principal of Hansraj College Delhi Prof. Rama and Principal Investigator of Singapore MIT Prof. Julian Lescar will address the researchers.

Conference Convener Dr. Brijesh Rathi emphasized that three technical sessions will be organized simultaneously every day in this three-day conference, which are designed to increase awareness among young researchers and scientists. Mayo Clinic, a leader in medical services in the world, will also set up a Center of Excellence in the field of medicine and pharmacy in collaboration with Pacific University. Rohit Chitale from Mayo Clinic Florida USA will take a session, who is also the co-organizer of this conference. This conference will be a great learning opportunity for teachers, medical practitioners and students.

During the press conference, Prof. Rathi said that there will be discussions on contemporary research work done on various natural antibiotics during the conference and there will also be discussions on new effective drugs related to anti-malaria. Along with this, there will be a brainstorming session on modern research and innovation in neurochemistry. There will also be brainstorming on the changes that have taken place in the immune system after Kovid.

Pacific University President Prof. KK Dave said that the main objective of this conference is to advance the discovery and development of new drugs and radiopharmaceuticals, which will help in the treatment of infectious diseases, neurological disorders and cancer. The objective of the conference is to promote transparent collaboration between scientists, professionals and physicians to improve public health.

Dean PG Studies Prof. Hemant Kothari informed that Kumaun University Vice Chancellor Prof. Diwan S. Rawat will present his thoughts on Parkinson’s disease and its diagnosis in this conference. A major attraction of the conference is the poster exhibition to be held in it, through which complex medical topics will be explained in a simple and easy way. This will be the first such conference in Udaipur division in which there will be a world-class discussion on biology, chemistry and translational medicine in such depth.

During this conference, 20 awards for Best Poster Presentation, 10 awards for Best Oral Presentation, Young Scientist Award and many such awards will be given at the closing ceremony of the conference. During the session, Prof. Dr. Atulaabh Vajpayee of the Department of Neurology and Dr. SG Mehta and Dr. Deepak Salvi of the Department of Psychiatry of Pacific Medical University will discuss stress management in psychometric disorders.

In the conference, professors from Delhi University, JNU University, Russian Academy of Sciences, National Institute of Malaria Research ICMR, University of KwaZulu-Natal South Africa, University of Debrecen Hungary, IIT Hyderabad, Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital Delhi, Pacific Medical College and Hospital Udaipur, Pondicherry University, Patel Chest Institute, Faculty of Pharmacy Pacific University, Kumaun University Nainital, etc. will present their views. There will also be a panel discussion on new challenges and opportunities in drug discovery
