New Delhi, May 12: The political landscape in Tamil Nadu is heating up once again following remarks made by opposition leader and former minister Udayanidhi Stalin. BJP leader Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh has sharply criticized Stalin’s comments regarding Sanatan Dharma.
Brij Bhushan stated that individuals like Udayanidhi Stalin are descendants of Ravana and Hiranyakashyap. He emphasized that the truth of Sanatan cannot be erased.
In an interview with a news agency, he remarked that Sanatan has faced challenges in every era, including the current age of Kali. He expressed confidence that the forces of evil will soon be eradicated.
Udayanidhi Stalin, the son of DMK chief M.K. Stalin, has asserted that Sanatan, which he claims fosters discrimination among people, must be abolished.
Responding to questions regarding wrestler Vinesh Phogat’s allegations, Brij Bhushan stated that he is addressing the accusations made against him, which are currently under judicial review. He clarified that the matter of wrestling is not his concern at the moment, but rather that of the Wrestling Federation of India (WFI).
Brij Bhushan, who has previously served as the president of WFI, asserted that the federation does not prevent any athlete from competing, as it is established for the benefit of the players. He mentioned that if anyone has been barred, there must be a valid reason provided.
