Jaipur, October 2 (Udaipur Kiran News): Even after the withdrawal of the monsoon, rain continues across Rajasthan. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert for heavy rainfall in 24 districts of the state on Thursday.

According to the Jaipur Meteorological Centre, rainfall activity may slow down slightly on October 3 and 4, but under the influence of a western disturbance, the state is likely to witness heavy showers between October 5 and 7.
Widespread Rain Recorded on Wednesday
The IMD report stated that several districts, including Jaipur, Nagaur, Ajmer, Karauli, and Bharatpur, recorded good rainfall on Wednesday.

In addition, some parts of Hanumangarh and Churu witnessed stormy rain late in the evening.
Temperature Drops Across Cities
Due to continuous rainfall, both day and night temperatures have dropped across Rajasthan. On Wednesday, the maximum temperature in most cities was recorded up to 5°C below normal.

Districts Under Yellow Alert
Rainfall is expected today in Jaipur, Hanumangarh, Churu, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Dausa, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Karauli, Sawai Madhopur, Ajmer, Nagaur, Tonk, Bhilwara, Bundi, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Jodhpur, Pali, Sirohi, Rajsamand, Jalore, and Barmer.
While the rainfall has brought relief for farmers, urban areas are facing waterlogging and commuting challenges.
