New Delhi, November 29 (Udaipur Kiran): Chinese smartphone maker Xiaomi may soon launch a new smartphone under its flagship series. According to leaked information, the upcoming Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to come with a triple rear camera unit, including a powerful 200-megapixel telephoto camera.

As per a media report, images of the photography kit of the Xiaomi 17 Ultra have been leaked, revealing details of its camera setup. The smartphone may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 200-megapixel telephoto lens, and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the rear. For selfies and video calls, a 50-megapixel front camera is also expected. In comparison, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra was equipped with a quad rear camera unit.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has not yet been introduced in the Xiaomi 17 series launched in China. The current China lineup includes the base model along with the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to be launched in both the Chinese and international markets.
Recently, a tipster claimed that the Xiaomi 17 and Xiaomi 17 Ultra are under testing in India. The Pro models in this series come with a unique dual-display design. However, there is still no official information regarding the global launch timeline.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra has been listed on China’s 3C certification site in two variants. One version may support satellite connectivity. The standard variant is listed with model number 2512BPNDAC, while the satellite communication variant carries model number 25128PNA1C. The Xiaomi 17 Pro launched in India in September features a 6.3-inch display, while the Pro Max offers a 6.9-inch display.
The Xiaomi 17 Ultra is expected to sport a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with 2K resolution. It may be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. The smartphone is likely to offer up to 6 GB RAM and 512 GB internal storage.
