Rajsamand. A shocking revelation has emerged in the Sher Singh murder case from Kankroli, where the victim’s own wife, Pramod Kunwar, has been found to be the mastermind behind the brutal killing. She allegedly conspired with her longtime lover, Ram Singh, to eliminate her husband so the two could live together.
The motive behind the murder is believed to be an ongoing extramarital affair, frequent domestic disputes, and Sher Singh’s refusal to grant a divorce.
Police investigations revealed that Pramod Kunwar and Ram Singh had a romantic relationship dating back to their school days. Despite her marriage to Sher Singh in 2013, their affair continued. In 2021, after relocating to Khakharmala with Sher Singh and their children, the conflict escalated as Ram Singh began visiting frequently.
Unable to bear the situation any longer, Pramod and Ram Singh planned his murder. Ram Singh contacted two associates, Shaukeen and Durga Prasad, and offered them ₹1 lakh each to assist. On June 24, after luring Sher Singh to a remote location, they rammed his motorcycle with a car and fatally attacked him with sharp weapons.
police have arrested all four accused — Pramod Kunwar, Ram Singh, Shaukeen, and Durga Prasad. Ram Singh was caught in Mount Abu, and Pramod was arrested on Wednesday. The crime was meticulously planned, with prior financial transfers and surveillance by the accused.
