Mumbai, November 28 (Udaipur Kiran): Shares of Voltamp Transformers surged on the BSE after the company received a Letter of Intent (LoI) worth ₹85.05 crore from Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation.

The stock was trading at ₹8,288.70, up by ₹220.25 or 2.73 per cent from its previous close of ₹8,068.45. It opened at ₹8,220.00 and touched an intraday high of ₹8,304.05 and a low of ₹8,080.00. A total of 293 shares were traded during the session.
The BSE Group ‘A’ stock with a face value of ₹10 has touched a 52-week high of ₹11,539.15 on December 9, 2024, and a 52-week low of ₹5,900.00 on April 7, 2025. The company’s market capitalisation stands at ₹8,162.95 crore.
The promoter holding in the company is 30.00 per cent, while institutions hold 52.59 per cent and non-institutional investors hold 17.40 per cent.
Voltamp Transformers has secured an LoI worth around ₹85.05 crore (inclusive of GST) for the design, manufacture, testing and supply of power transformers of various ratings as per tender specifications. The order is to be executed within six months.
