Udaipur : A 12th grade student in Udaipur, Rajasthan committed suicide by hanging himself on Tuesday. The student, identified as Yuvraj Singh, was a resident of Churu and was living with his mother in Udaipur. He was also preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
According to police, Yuvraj’s mother returned home from school on Tuesday and found the house locked from the inside. After knocking on the door for a while, she called for help from neighbors. When they broke down the door, they found Yuvraj hanging from a noose. He was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Police said that Yuvraj left a suicide note in which he said that he was taking his own life by his own free will. The note did not specify the reason for his suicide.
The body has been sent for post-mortem. Police are investigating the matter.
