Udaipur, February 24, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran) – In a nail-biting contest of PIMS Mewar Cup Season 4, Udaipur Lakecity Warriors defeated star-studded GCA Cloth by three wickets in a match that went down to the final over on Saturday.

The tournament is being organised jointly by Pacific Hospital, Vinay Cricket Club and Leela Foundation.
Chasing a challenging target of 209 runs, Udaipur Lakecity Warriors were struggling at 190 for seven in 18 overs. Ten runs came in the 19th over, setting up a tense finish. In the final over, bowler Japangya Bhatt had the task of defending eight runs. However, Kunal Singh Rathore struck a six followed by two runs to seal a dramatic victory for his team.
Earlier, GCA Cloth posted 208 for nine in 20 overs. Priyash Patel led the charge with 56 runs, smashing three sixes and six fours, while Hemang Patel contributed 27 runs. For Udaipur Lakecity Warriors, Mohammad Shah Rukh Khan, Ankur Panwar and Vashvaraj Rana picked up two wickets each.
In reply, Kunal Singh Rathore played a match-winning knock of 89 runs, hitting seven sixes and six fours. Samarth Vyas added a valuable 44 runs off 31 balls. Udaipur Lakecity Warriors eventually achieved the target with three wickets in hand.
Delhi Challengers Register Dominant Win
In the morning session, Delhi Challengers secured a comprehensive nine-wicket victory over Balaji Construction.
Batting first, Balaji Construction managed 144 runs in 20 overs. Harsh Tyagi fought a lone battle with 65 runs off 48 balls, including nine fours and two sixes, but the rest of the batting line-up failed to withstand disciplined bowling.
Ashok Sharma delivered an impressive spell, claiming three wickets for 19 runs in four overs.
Chasing 145, Delhi Challengers got off to an aggressive start and maintained control throughout the innings. Uves Ahmed smashed 69 runs off just 31 balls, hitting five fours and seven towering sixes. Raghav Dhawan supported him well with 61 runs off 33 balls. The team comfortably reached 148 for one in just 13 overs to seal the one-sided win.
