Train Services Disrupted Due to Block on Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur Section of Western Railway

Mumbai, January – Train services on the Western Railway network will face temporary disruptions on January 12, 2025, due to a scheduled block for replacing an RCC slab with a PSC slab between Siras and Banasthali Niwai stations on the Jaipur-Sawai Madhopur section of the Jaipur Division.

According to Vineet Abhishek, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, several trains will be cancelled, short-terminated, or diverted during this period. The detailed list of affected trains is as follows:

  1. Train No. 14802 Indore-Jodhpur Express – Cancelled on January 13, 2025
  2. Train No. 14801 Jodhpur-Indore Express – Cancelled on January 11, 2025
  3. Train No. 12465 Indore-Bhagat Ki Kothi Express – Cancelled on January 12, 2025
  4. Train No. 12466 Bhagat Ki Kothi-Indore Express – Cancelled on January 12, 2025

Trains Diverted

  1. Train No. 12979 Bandra Terminus-Jaipur Express (departing January 11, 2025) – Diverted via Kota-Chanderiya-Ajmer route.
    • Additional stoppages: Chanderiya and Bhilwara.
  2. Train No. 09621 Ajmer-Bandra Terminus Special (departing January 12, 2025) – Diverted via Ajmer-Chanderiya-Ratlam route.
    • Additional stoppages: Bhilwara, Chittorgarh, Neemuch, and Mandsaur.

Trains Short-Terminated

  1. Train No. 12955 Mumbai Central-Jaipur Express (departing January 11, 2025) – Short-terminated at Sawai Madhopur, resulting in partial cancellation between Sawai Madhopur and Jaipur.
