Akasa Air to Launch Direct Udaipur-Mumbai and Udaipur-Bengaluru Flights on October 15
Udaipur, October 14, 2026: Akasa Air will launch daily direct flights between Udaipur and Mumbai, and Udaipur and Bengaluru, from October 15. The new services from Maharana Pratap Airport are expected to strengthen air connectivity between Udaipur and two major metropolitan cities.
Akasa Air will organise a ceremony at Udaipur airport to mark the launch of the new services. The airline has completed the necessary preparations and drawn up a proposal for the event.
Airport Director Sanwar Mal Singaria said senior officials of the Airports Authority of India (AAI) had also been informed about the launch of the new flights and the proposed event.
Udaipur to Have Six Flights to Mumbai and Two to Bengaluru
Currently, Udaipur has five flights to Mumbai, including four operated by IndiGo and one by Air India. Bengaluru is connected to Udaipur by one IndiGo flight.
With Akasa Air introducing its services, the total number of flights between Udaipur and Mumbai will increase to six, while the number of flights between Udaipur and Bengaluru will rise to two.
The daily direct services are expected to benefit passengers, tourists and business travellers from Udaipur and surrounding areas. Improved connectivity with major economic centres such as Mumbai and Bengaluru is also expected to support tourism and trade.
