Roadways Bus Tire Burst Leads to Fatal Crash on National Highway-911
Sri Ganganagar, March 17 – A devastating road accident in Anupgarh, Sri Ganganagar, claimed the lives of three people, including a father and son, on Monday afternoon. The accident occurred on National Highway-911 near 23A Modh, when a roadways bus lost control after a tire burst and collided head-on with an e-rickshaw.

🚨 Fatalities and Injuries Reported
According to Anupgarh Police Station in-charge Ishwar Jangid, the deceased have been identified as:
✔ Chhinder Singh (45), the e-rickshaw driver.
✔ Jaspreet Singh (18), his son and a Class 12 student.
✔ Manveet Singh (10), a young passenger who succumbed to injuries en route to the hospital.
Five other passengers sustained injuries and were immediately rushed to the Government Hospital in Anupgarh.
✔ A serious casualty was Angrej Singh (35), who suffered multiple fractures in both hands and was referred to Suratgarh for advanced treatment.
✔ Jaspal Kaur (40) sustained head injuries and is undergoing treatment.
✔ Krishna (16), a student returning after her Class 10 exams, is being treated in Anupgarh hospital.
⚠️ Eyewitness Account & Cause of the Accident
Eyewitness Rakesh Kumar recounted that the roadways bus was en route from Gharsana to Anupgarh. As it neared 23A Modh, the front tire suddenly burst, causing the driver to lose control. The bus veered off-course and crashed into the approaching e-rickshaw, resulting in the fatal impact.
Chhinder Singh’s father, Kishan Singh, shared that his son was the sole breadwinner of the family, supporting his wife and two daughters, Mamta (19) and Neetu (6). The family has been devastated by the tragedy.
