Alwar, March 17 – A fatal road accident on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway claimed the lives of a Delhi Police Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) and his wife early Monday morning. The incident occurred near Chainage No. 135 in the Raini police station area of Alwar, when a speeding Tata Harrier crashed into their stationary Scorpio, leaving ASI Kaluram Meena (55) dead on the spot, while his wife, Dhapu Devi (50), succumbed to injuries at the hospital.

🚨 Tragic Incident on the Expressway
According to ASI Manoj Kumar of Raini Police Station, the couple, residents of Ramnagar, Kotkhavda (Jaipur), were traveling from Jaipur to Delhi when their Scorpio suffered a flat tire. ASI Meena parked the vehicle along the highway and started changing the tire, while his wife remained inside the car.
✔ Suddenly, a speeding Tata Harrier rammed into the parked Scorpio from behind, leading to a devastating impact.
✔ ASI Meena died instantly, while his wife sustained critical injuries.
✔ Emergency services rushed her to Alwar Government Hospital, but she could not survive.
