Traffic Police’s Innovation: Teaching Road Safety Through Fun and Games

Udaipur, September 22: A unique initiative has been taken to educate the general public, especially the youth, about traffic rules and the importance of road safety and life-saving. Under the joint aegis of the Traffic Police and Aadhar Foundation, Rajasthan Police’s Road Safety Life Saving nodal officer, Praveen Kumar, popularly known as PK Mast, delivered a message of road safety to youth and children in a fun and playful manner at Fatehsagar Palace on Sunday evening. A large number of youth are fans of Praveen Kumar, who is famous on social media as PK Mast. The youth were excited to see him among them.

Praveen Kumar, who is on a three-day visit to Udaipur, held his first program at Fatehsagar Palace on Sunday evening. A large number of youth, NCC cadets, and the general public were present here. Praveen Kumar, in his familiar style, connected with the youth, children, and the general public, and shared many entertaining anecdotes related to road safety, bringing smiles to people’s faces. Through fun and games, he made everyone think about the serious issue of following traffic rules to protect their own and others’ lives. He asked children various questions in a humorous manner and presented the essence of following traffic rules from the children’s answers, which was quite impressive. Various activities related to road safety were also conducted for children during the program. The winners were awarded prizes with the cooperation of philanthropists.

Deputy Superintendent of Police Netrapal Singh said that such entertainment activities can bring about a change in children and their habits. Narayan Chaudhary of Aadhar Foundation said that such innovative experiments can promote road safety life-saving and reduce the death rate in road accidents. Preeti Pamecha also expressed her views. The program was conducted by Aryan and Prachi Jain.
