New Delhi : Three laborers were arrested for trying to enter the Parliament complex by showing fake Aadhaar cards. The accused, identified as Kasim, Shoaib, and Monis, were intercepted by CISF personnel deployed for the security of Parliament. An FIR has been registered against the accused under various sections of the IPC. The incident is said to have taken place at Gate No. 3 of Parliament House at 1:30 PM on June 4.
When the security personnel checked their Aadhaar cards at the gate, they became suspicious. Upon investigation, it was found that the Aadhaar cards were fake. The three were immediately taken into custody and later arrested. Following the incident, the responsibility for the security of Parliament House has been handed over to the CRPF and Delhi Police. It is said that the three laborers were hired for construction work in the MP lounge inside the Parliament complex.
It is noteworthy that in December last year, two people jumped into the visitor’s gallery of Parliament House. The security of Parliament House was tightened after this incident. Many people were also arrested in this case. This incident was considered a major breach in the security of Parliament. The latest incident is related to fake Aadhaar cards.
