Tata Power leverages Government Scholarship Schemes in Mumbai

Tata Power Company has leveraged Government of India’s – National Scholarship Portal and awarded scholarship to over 700 students (90% SC/ST plus minority and 80% girls), with an aim to support higher education amongst India’s youths. The activity was held under the company’s Financial Inclusion CSR program titled – ‘Adhikaar’.

As part of this activity, the Income Certificates to students were issued through Maha E Seva Kendra under Financial Inclusivity programme at Rs 47 (Government fee) within 15 days. Additionally, it also benefitted each student with a scholarship worth Rs 5,000 per year and access to government library at no additional cost.
