‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah’ fame actor Gurucharan Singh has returned home after being missing for 26 days. He recently came back to Mumbai and is now looking for work. When he left home, there were reports that he had gone somewhere due to debts, but his family had no information about his whereabouts. Now, Gurucharan has made some revelations.
Gurucharan Singh is in debt of Rs 1.2 crore and needs work to pay it off. In an interview, Gurucharan said that he has been coming to Mumbai for the past month to find work. He shared, “I have been in Mumbai for a month now, searching for work. I believe people love me and want to see me on screen. I want to earn money to cover my expenses, take care of my mother, and repay my debts. I want to start my second innings by doing something good.” Gurucharan added, “I desperately need money now because I have EMIs and credit card bills to pay. There are kind people who have lent me money, and now I want to work because I want to take care of my elderly parents.”
Gurucharan also revealed that he has stopped eating for the past 34 days. He said, “I am only drinking milk, tea, and coconut water. In the last four years, I have seen nothing but failures. I tried different things, I tried doing business, but I did not succeed in anything. Now, I am exhausted and just want to earn money.”
In the interview, Gurucharan disclosed that he has a significant amount of debt. He said, “I want to repay the Rs 60 lakh loan I took from banks and credit card companies. Besides that, some acquaintances have lent me money, and I want to clear their debts as well.” Gurucharan Singh mentioned that he owes a total of Rs 1.2 crore. He also clarified that he left home for a religious journey and has no intention of defaulting on loans.
