Udaipur (Udaipur Kiran): B.Sc. Nursing students of Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Udaipur (a unit of Sai Tirupati University) on Wednesday staged an inspirational play on the theme “Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao” at Mahatma Gandhi Senior Secondary School.

The objective of the play was to promote awareness about the importance of daughters in society, their right to education and the need for gender equality.
Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, Principal of Venkateshwar College of Nursing, attended the programme as the Chief Guest. The event was directed by Rupendra Singh Shaktawat, Head of the Community Health Nursing Department, while Prakash Salvi and Maheshwari Ma’am coordinated the programme.
School Principal Barkha Chittora appreciated the efforts and said that such performances are an effective medium to convey positive social messages to both children and the community.
The play highlighted that daughters are capable of excelling in every field, and it is society’s responsibility to ensure their safety and education. A progressive society is recognised by the empowerment and advancement of its daughters.
Students, teachers and parents participated enthusiastically in the event.
