Sri Lanka FM to visit Russia soon

Moscow, March 8 ( /Sputnik) Sri Lankan Foreign Minister Gamini Lakshman Peiris plans to pay an official visit to Russia in the near future, Sri Lankan Ambassador in Moscow Janitha Abewickrema Liyanage told Sputnik. “In the near future, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Sri Lanka, Honorable Professor Gamini Lakshman Peiris, plans to pay an official visit to Russia,” the ambassador said. High-level visits between the two countries have made a great contribution to the development of bilateral cooperation, the diplomat added.
