Jaipur / Udaipur : The son of Kanhaiyalal Tailor, Yash, recorded his statement in the NIA Special Court in connection with the Udaipur Kanhaiyalal Taylor murder case. Earlier, the prosecution had recorded the statement of a policeman as the first witness.

In the statements recorded through advocate TP Sharma on behalf of the NIA, Yash said that the accused who killed his father had links to Pakistan. On the day of the incident, he received a call informing him that his father had been murdered by two boys. When he reached the shop, he found his father Kanhaiyalal lying in a pool of blood. The accused brutally murdered his father. On which he filed a case with the police.
The prosecution’s statements were completed, but due to paucity of time, the cross-examination of the accused could not be done by them. In such a situation, the cross-examination of the accused will be done on June 20.
During the hearing, eight accused in the case appeared through VC from Ajmer Jail. On Friday, statements of two police officers Bhanupratap Singh and Rajendra will be recorded as witnesses of the prosecution in this case.
It is noteworthy that on June 28, 2022, the accused carried out the massacre and made its video viral on social media. After investigating the case, the NIA had filed a charge sheet against Riyaz Attari, Gaus Mohammad and others. Accused Farhad Mohammad has got bail in the case. While Pakistani accused Salman and Abu Ibrahim are absconding.
