New Delhi, October 28 (Udaipur Kiran): India’s vice-captain and opening batter Smriti Mandhana continues to dominate the ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, securing the top position with a career-best rating of 828 points. Her consistent performances against New Zealand and Bangladesh have further widened her lead at the top.

Mandhana’s stellar innings of 109 runs against New Zealand and an unbeaten 34 runs against Bangladesh have given her a commanding lead of nearly 100 points over her closest rival, Australia’s Ash Gardner (731 points). Gardner climbed six spots to second place after scoring a century against England.
Mandhana’s recent form has been exceptional. In September 2025, she delivered outstanding performances against Australia, earning the ICC Women’s Player of the Month award.
South Africa’s captain Laura Wolvaardt moved up two places to enter the top three, following her innings of 90 and 31 runs. England’s Amy Jones climbed four places to ninth position with 656 points, while Australia’s Annabel Sutherland made the biggest leap — rising 16 spots to 16th place with 613 points.
India’s young player Pratika Rawal broke into the top 30 for the first time, reaching 27th place (564 points) despite missing part of the tournament due to injury — a reflection of her growing consistency.
Major Shifts in Bowling Rankings
Spin bowlers continued to dominate the charts. England’s Sophie Ecclestone remains the world’s No.1 bowler with 747 points, while Australia’s Alana King climbed five spots to second place (698 points) after claiming seven wickets against South Africa.
Her teammate Ash Gardner slipped one position to third (689 points). Pakistan’s Nashra Sandhu and South Africa’s Nonkululeko Mlaba share the 10th spot with 610 points each.
Among pacers, Marizanne Kapp and Annabel Sutherland gained one position each, ranking fourth and seventh respectively. England’s left-arm spinner Linsey Smith emerged as the biggest mover this week, jumping 24 places to 36th with 444 points.
All-Rounder Rankings
Ash Gardner maintained her dominance in the all-rounder rankings with 503 points, followed by South Africa’s Marizanne Kapp in second (422 points), who overtook West Indies’ Hayley Matthews. Annabel Sutherland climbed to fourth place, while Alana King entered the top 10 all-rounders for the first time.
