Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series, consisting of the standard Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra models, was launched in January with numerous new features and an improved processor.

Samsung Galaxy S25 battery details revealed
Galaxy Club (in Dutch) reports that the Galaxy S25 will have a 4,000mAh battery, just like the current generation Galaxy S24 model. The upcoming phone is said to have a 3,881 mAh battery, the same as the announced previous generation The standard capacity is 4000 mAh.
The publication also states that the South Korean tech company has registered the name “Galaxy S25” in Mexico to protect its trademark. The model number of this device is SM-S931.
Battery upgrade of previous Samsung Galaxy S series phones
The battery capacity of Galaxy S series smartphones has changed in recent years. The older Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 models had 4,000mAh batteries, while the Galaxy S22 now has a smaller 3,700mAh battery. Samsung installed a 3,900 mAh battery in the Galaxy S23 model, which was released in January 2023.
The battery capacity of the Galaxy S24 has been increased from 100 mAh to 4000 mAh. Enthusiasts can expect battery capacity to increase to over 4,000mAh in 2025, but reports suggest this may not be the case. Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra come with 4900 and 5000 mAh battery units respectively.
These details should be viewed with caution, as the so-called Samsung Galaxy S25 is not expected to come onto the market for a few months.
According to the company’s previous release schedule, Samsung could introduce the Galaxy S25 series in January 2025 with a significantly revised design. The vanilla model will come with a larger 6.36-inch display. The current model has a 6.2-inch screen.
It may work in all markets with the Exynos 2500 chipset. There are rumors that Samsung will abandon the ISOCELL sensor and use a Sony image sensor as the main camera in the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+.
