Samsung Galaxy S24 FE is expected to be announced later this year as the successor to last year’s Galaxy S23 FE. It is assumed that the next fan edition smartphone will come onto the market as a smaller version of the Galaxy S24. The global version of the Galaxy S24 FE has appeared on Geekbench with the model number SM-S721B. The listing reveals that it will be powered by an Exynos 2400 chipset and may be coupled with 8GB of RAM and Android 14 operating system.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE Geekbench list

A Samsung device with model number SM-S721B was spotted on the Geekbench website. The listing is believed to be the international variant of the Galaxy S24 FE and it may run Android 14 with 8GB of RAM. The June 13 listing shows that the phone scored 2,047 points in the single-core test and 6,289 points in the multi-core test.

The Geekbench listing of the Galaxy S24 FE shows that the phone has a 10-core chipset alongside the s5e9945 motherboard. It has a main CPU core with a maximum clock speed of 3.11 GHz, 2 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.90 GHz, 3 cores with a maximum clock speed of 2.59 GHz and 4 cores with a maximum clock speed of 1.96GHz. These CPU speeds appear to come from Samsung’s in-house Exynos 2400 processor, but the core clock speed is slightly lower than the actual 3.2GHz.

Samsung is expected to adopt a dual-chip strategy for the Galaxy S24 FE. In some markets, including the US, it may come with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. A version with Exynos 2400 chipset is likely for the European and Indian markets. According to previous leaks, the device will launch in late 2024 or early next year as an affordable alternative to the flagship Galaxy S24.

The Galaxy S24 FE is expected to feature a 6.1-inch AMOLED display and a 50-megapixel 1/1.57-inch ISOCELL GN3 sensor. It can be equipped with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and is available in 128GB and 256GB UFS 3.1 storage options. This phone is likely to come with a 4500mAh battery.
