
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE received a new update last week that added Circle to the smartphone’s search function. According to a new report, the feature is now rolling out in multiple countries at once. Last week’s update only confirmed that the Visual Search feature will be available in Asian countries, but it is said that it will also be rolled out to the US, Canada and other regions due to different firmware versions in the Galaxy A series Smartphone.
Circle to Search Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is apparently coming to other countries
According to SamMobile, the August 2024 security update for the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE was also rolled out to additional countries this week. This includes several countries such as Europe, Canada and the United States. This release tracked updates across different firmware versions by region.
According to the publication, the update was available in Canada with firmware version G990WVLUCGXG8. The update will also be introduced in European countries with firmware version G990BXXU9GXH2 or G990B2XXU8GXH2. These two versions represent the two types of smartphones available in the region.
Additionally, the report claims that the update is also rolling out in the US and will be available for both the carrier and factory-locked versions of the Galaxy S21 FE. ATandT, Comcast, Dish, Metro, PCS, T-Mobile and Xfinity Mobile networks are receiving an update that includes firmware version G990USQUCGXG8 for carrier-locked versions of smartphones, while firmware version G990U1UEUCGXG7 comes out of the box for all Mobile provider is blocked. open
To install the new security update, Samsung Galaxy S21 FE users can go to Settings and then Software Update. There you can select “Download and Install” at the bottom of the page. It is worth noting that this update also fixes several security vulnerabilities in previous versions of the software.
Separately, there are reports that Google is working on a new Pixel Screenshots app and Circle-to-Search integration for the Pixel 9 series. This Pixel-exclusive feature allows users to save screenshots directly using the image search feature and uses AI processing to save images until the user queries them, supposedly enabling the screenshot app to recognize them.
