RSS Engaged in Introspection During Centenary Year: Nimbaaram Ji

Banswara, January 25, 2026 (Udaipur Kiran): The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is passing through a phase of deep introspection and self-reflection during its centenary year, with a focus not merely on organisational expansion but on strengthening society through character building and nation service. These views were expressed by RSS Rajasthan’s Regional Pracharak and noted nationalist thinker Nimbaaram during an address and dialogue session titled “100 Years of Nation Service” at the concluding day of the three-day Mahi Talk Fest.

Addressing the audience, Nimbaaram Ji said that the core work of the Sangh is social service, where volunteers are shaped as disciplined nation-builders. He noted that honest self-analysis shows the organisation has continuously progressed over the decades, with values of service and sensitivity reaching wider sections of society.

Referring to RSS founder Keshav Baliram Hedgewar, he said the founder’s vision was to integrate society and organisation as one. With this objective, different shakhas are conducted for children, students, youth, professionals, and senior citizens to ensure continuous value-based development and organisational strength.

He cited an India Today survey which recognised RSS service activities as the country’s largest NGO network, calling it evidence of sustained social contribution by volunteers. He emphasised that while the Sangh runs shakhas, the swayamsevak remains deeply rooted in society and continues to work for individual and national development in every situation.

During the interaction, Nimbaaram Ji highlighted that RSS focuses on three key strengths—women power, virtuous citizens, and organisation of society as a whole. He said that to truly understand the Sangh, one must experience it from within, adding that the doors to enter and exit are always open. Quoting, “Those who confront us eventually become like us,” he underlined the organisation’s approach of harmony and dialogue.

Calling upon the youth, he said the Constitution not only grants rights but also reminds citizens of their duties. He stressed the need for social harmony and adopting swadeshi as a movement for self-reliance. He clarified that RSS does not limit itself to preaching, but believes in action-oriented discipline. Emphasising the need for collective strength, he said society must remain organised and empowered, noting that volunteers have now reached nearly 70 per cent of households through various service initiatives.

The dialogue session was moderated by Mrs. Ruchi Shrimali, while proceedings were conducted by Randhir Vyas. Participants actively engaged through questions and described the discussion on a century of nation service as deeply inspiring.
