Jaipur, March 19 – The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Deputy Commandant (Sub-Commandant) posts under the Home Defense Department. The application process will commence on March 24 and remain open until midnight on April 22. Candidates can apply only through online mode.

This recruitment drive aims to fill four vacancies, which have been exclusively reserved for specific categories. The distribution of posts includes two for Scheduled Castes (SC), one for Scheduled Tribes (ST), and one for Other Backward Classes (OBC). General category candidates will not be eligible to apply.
Eligibility Criteria:
- The applicant must be a retired Captain from the Indian Army or must have resigned from service before the application deadline.
- Candidates below the rank of Captain are not eligible to apply.
- The age limit for applicants is between 20 and 40 years as of the application deadline.
Selection Process & Salary Details:
- Candidates will be selected based on a written examination and an interview.
- If required, scaling, moderation, or normalization methods may be applied during the evaluation process.
- The final merit list will be prepared based on the marks obtained in the written test and the interview.
- Selected candidates will be placed in Pay Matrix Level-14 with a Grade Pay of ₹5400.
