Patna, Mar 3 : RJD on Thursday expelled its former MLA from Jhanjharpur Gulab Yadav for six years for anti party activities. Former RJD MLA Bhola Yadav said here that Gulab Yadav had been expelled for six years from party. He was found indulged in anti party activities, he added. “Gulab has geared up to field his wife from Madhubani seat against official candidate of the party in Bihar Legislative Council elections from local bodies quota” Bhola said adding that Gulab had been expelled from the party on the directive of RJD president Lalu Prasad. Despite repeated warnings from the party, Gulab continued his mass contact programme in favour of his wife as run up to field her from Madhubani seat, despite the fact that RJD had declared its candidate from there, he further added. As it is, Bihar Legislative Council elections for 24 seats from local bodies quota would be held on April 4. Notification for elections would be issued on March 9. RJD and CPI have reached seat sharing agreement and accordingly. RJD would contest on 23 seats while CPI would field its candidate on one seat. KKS BM
