Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched two new websites and mobile applications. According to the central bank’s press release, the existing website will remain in place for some time and will operate in parallel with the new websites.
The press release also mentions that “Reserve Bank of India’s new website and mobile app was launched today by Governor Shri Shaktikanta Das.”

New RBI Application: Available
Android and iPhone users can download this new app from Google Play Store and Apple App Store respectively. The release also includes QR codes that can be scanned to download the app.
G-sec Apps for Retail Direct portal: what is it?
Along with launching its app, RBI has also launched another mobile app for its direct retail portal. This mobile application allows investors to invest in various types of government securities. These include federal bonds, treasury bonds, treasury bills and more. Previously, retail investors could only invest in these government bonds by visiting the website.
