Reliance Jio has experienced service outages in various parts of India, resulting in users not being able to access communication apps, which has negatively affected employees working from home.
This seems to have hit some members of Times of India’s technology team as they were accessing the internet from their mobile phones.

According to the Downdetector service, which monitors network outages, this indicates a serious problem with fiber and mobile Internet connections.
At the time of writing, 58% of users reported issues with JioFiber and 37% of users said their mobile data was affected.
The number of complainants peaked at 13:41 with about 2,300 messages and gradually decreased until 14:11. However, the number of reports increased again, with 1,900 complaints received.
The reason for the outage is unknown and there is no official statement from Reliance Jio about the situation yet.
The outage has caused a lot of disappointment among Jio customers who rely on internet services for their daily communication and entertainment.
