Udaipur : Rajasthan woke up to a blanket of dense fog on Monday morning, with cities like Jaipur, Kota, Alwar, Dausa, Bharatpur, Ajmer, Sriganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, and Sikar experiencing low visibility. The thick fog led to traffic crawling on highways, while iconic landmarks such as Jaipur’s Nahargarh and Amer Fort disappeared into the mist.
On Sunday, the maximum temperature across most districts, including Jaipur, Sriganganagar, Dungarpur, and Karauli, dropped by 3 to 10 degrees Celsius. An orange and yellow alert for dense fog has been issued for 19 districts in Jaipur, Ajmer, Bharatpur, and Bikaner divisions for Monday.

Western Disturbance to Bring Rain Between January 10-12
Weather experts predict that a western disturbance is likely to become active before Makar Sankranti, leading to cloudy skies and possible rain in Jaipur, Bharatpur, Bikaner, and Ajmer divisions between January 10-12. The forecast indicates light to moderate rainfall in several regions during this period.
