Jaipur, November 7 (Udaipur Kiran). In a major breakthrough, Pratapgarh Police have arrested six members of a gang involved in two separate loot incidents targeting finance company field employees. The gang had looted a total of ₹2.19 lakh in cash along with valuables after committing robberies on forest routes.

Superintendent of Police B. Aditya said that the first incident took place on September 16. The victim, Ramlal Meena, an employee of Bharat Bank Finance, reported that while returning from Khutgarh to Pratapgarh, three men stopped him under a teak tree on the roadside in a forested area. The accused looted his mobile phone, motorcycle, tablet, biometric machine, and ₹1,31,324 in cash collected from loan recoveries.
The second incident occurred on September 28, when Vikram Yadav, Branch Manager of Bharat Finance Inclusion Limited, lodged a report. He stated that employees Ramlal Meena and Kuldeep Singh were returning after field collections when four unidentified men intercepted them near Khutgarh, snatched their bag, and fled on motorcycles. The bag contained ₹88,443 in cash and a biometric tablet.
Following both reports, cases were registered at Devgarh Police Station, and investigation began under the direction of SP B. Aditya and the supervision of CO Dhariyawad Nanalal Salvi. A special team led by Station House Officer Nagjiram was formed to track down the culprits.
Police deployed informers and maintained close surveillance on suspects in the region. During intensive searches and interrogation, six suspects were detained. All of them confessed to their involvement in both loot incidents.
All six accused have been arrested, and further investigation is underway. Constables Gomsingh, Rajmal, and Kuldeep from Devgarh Police Station played a key role in the operation.
