Poco Buds X1 has touchscreen controls and 12.4mm titanium dynamic speakers. Their in-ear design features a rounded stem and silicone ear tips. The magnetic charging case is square with rounded edges. There is a connection status indicator in the shape of a horizontal slot on the front panel.

The Poco Buds X1 charging case contains a 480 mAh battery and a USB Type-C port for charging. The earphones with the case are said to offer up to 36 hours of total playback time. They support Bluetooth 5.3 connection and SBC and AAC audio codecs. The headphones are IP54 rated for protection against dust and splashes. It is worth noting that the case does not have an IP rating.
