Poco has announced that it will launch its latest true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds, the Poco Buds X1, in India on August 1. The new headphones will be announced alongside the expected Poco M6 Plus 5G smartphone.
The Poco Buds X1 have a white in-ear design with subtle yellow accents, as shown in the teaser image. While no exact specifications have been revealed, Poco’s marketing tagline “Escape to Audio” suggests a focus on surround sound quality and potential noise cancellation features.
The company touts an “ear-safe escapement,” promises a “pure, uninterrupted audio experience,” and points to possible improvements in battery life and connectivity compared to previous models.
The Buds X1 feature 12.4mm titanium dynamic drivers and certified 40dB hybrid active noise cancellation.
The X1 headphones follow last year’s Poco Pods, which featured 12mm drivers, Google Quick Pair support, Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, IPX4 water resistance and up to 30 hours of battery life with fast charging.
In related news, Poco also announced that the recently announced Poco F6 Deadpool Limited Edition will be available for purchase starting August 7th.
The Poco M4 Plus 5G and Buds X1 launch event is scheduled for August 1 at 4:00 p.m.
