New Delhi, March 6 : Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Maharashtra’s Pune on Sunday to take part in several programmes. “Leaving for Pune where I will be taking part in various programmes including the inauguration of the Metro Rail Project, laying the foundation stone for various development works and attending the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Symbiosis versity,” the PM tweeted. As per a comm que issued by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the PM will unveil the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the premises of Pune M cipal Corporation. The statue is made up of 1850 kg gun metal and is about 9.5 feet tall. Then the PM will inaugurate Pune Metro Rail Project built at a cost of over Rs 11,400 crore, it said. He will also lay the foundation stone and inaugurate multiple developmental projects. The PM will also attend the Golden Jubilee celebration of Symbiosis versity. DS GNK
