New Delhi, July 3: BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal addressed the media on Friday regarding the Amarnath Yatra, the Ram Mandir donation issue, and youth development. He emphasized the government’s commitment to ensuring the convenience and safety of pilgrims during the Amarnath Yatra.
Khandelwal highlighted that the Amarnath Yatra is a sacred symbol of faith for the nation. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has written an inspiring letter to the pilgrims, wishing for a successful, safe, and smooth journey. This message serves as a source of motivation for devotees and strengthens the country’s faith in Lord Bholenath.
Responding to Congress MP K.C. Venugopal’s letter to the Prime Minister regarding the Ram Mandir donation issue and the demand for an investigation under the Supreme Court’s supervision, Khandelwal stated that the government is fully vigilant on the matter. A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has already been formed to investigate, and all necessary steps are being taken. He urged that the investigation report be awaited before any action is taken based on the facts.
During the Industry Association Conclave 2026, Khandelwal spoke about the ‘My India’ initiative, reiterating PM Modi’s emphasis on India being the world’s youngest country. With approximately 550 million youth under the age of 25, focusing on their creative development is essential.
He explained that the main objective of the meeting was to connect industry, business, and other stakeholders with the ‘My India’ campaign to promote skill development, employment, and youth participation. Khandelwal urged the youth to join the ‘My India’ portal in large numbers, stating that it would create job opportunities and ensure their active participation in building a developed India.
