In the 22nd match played on Monday, Patna defeated Puneri Paltan 48-37, thanks to a sensational performance from Ayan Lochan, who scored 21 points.
After three straight losses, Patna tasted victory, while Puneri Paltan, who had earlier registered three consecutive wins, slumped to their second successive defeat. For Patna, Ayan emerged as the undisputed star, single-handedly dominating the contest. On the other side, Puneri Paltan’s captain failed to make an impact, while star raider Aslam Inamdar endured a forgettable outing, getting dismissed six times by Ayan alone.
