The OnePlus Nord 4 is expected to receive four Android OS updates, which is the same number of OS updates as the current generation of the company’s flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12.
The four-year update period corresponds not only to the OnePlus 12, but also to Samsung’s mid-range smartphones such as the Galaxy A55 and Galaxy A35. Unlike the devices that promise five years of security updates, OnePlus says the Nord 4 will receive six years of security updates. However, the company has not said whether these will be available monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly.
